Mar. 21, 1763, at Waterbury, Conn.; d. Jan. 11, 1839; son of Reuben (4) and Diantha (Ward) Hale. (Hale Line. Samuel (3) Gershom (2) John (1)). Diantha was dau. of Noah (4) Ward of Goshen, Conn. (Ward ancestry: Capt. William (3) Andrew (2), Andrew (1)).

Elizabeth (Lewis) Hale d. Feb. 16, 1842, at Harmony (now Oakland) Susquhenna Co., Pa. Isaac's will was executed Dec. 23, 1838. Admitted to Probate Jan. 21, 1839. He was buried, as his will requested "on my own land back of the Garden," in what has since become the McKune Cemetery, where later, his wife was also buried.

CBe-CC. John Lewis, b. Oct. 3, 1770 (Nathaniel (4) Lewis, Mary 3, John 2, Wm.1). m. May 7, 1797, Rhoda Hall at Wells, Vermont. They were m. by Rev. Sylvester Hutchinson. John Lewis was b. at Cornwall, Conn. (Litchfield County) and d. Feb. 20, 1860. His wife was dau. of James and Betty (Lamb) Hall. He was a local M.E. preacher for sixty-five years and d. at Harmony, Chautauqua Co., N.Y. Rhoda d. Sept. 21, 1845, at Panama, Chautauqua Co., N. Y.

CBe-CDCBe-CD. Enos Lewis, b. May 31, 1774 (Nathaniel (4) Lewis, Mary 3, John 2, Wm.1). He was b. at Goshen, Litchfield Co., Conn. m. April 13, 1799, Eunice Button, at Wells, Vermont, dau. of Peter and Sarah (Glass) Button. He d. aged 88. After 1832, they resided at Harmony, N. Y.

CBe-Ce. Esther Lewis, b. May 31, 1774 (Nathaniel (4) Lewis, Mary 3, John 2, Wm.1). m. Aug. 18, 1791, Anthony Cole, at Wells, Vt. She was born at Goshen, Conn., and d. Feb. 21, 1854, at Magnolia, Wisconsin. He was b. in Conn. April 5, 1769, and d. Dec. 1838, Wayne township, Pa.

CBe-CH. Reuben Lewis, b. Jan. 18, 1782, Wells, Vt. (Nathaniel (4) Lewis, Mary 3, John 2, Wm.1). m. Deborah Potter, b. Wells, Vt., Nov. 19, 1789, dau. of William and Phoebe (Woodward) Potter.

He was a physcian. After 1806, res. Strikerville (?) Genesee Co. (now Wyoming Co.) N. Y. He m. (2) April 10, 1824, at Sheldon, N.Y., Ermina Eddy, dau. of Mahel and Sally (Spalding) Eddy I. He d. June 30, 1830, Jarva, N. Y. His wid. m. (2) George Humphrey, and (3) Ebenezer Page.
